Legacy in Education Group will provide funding needed to continue music and theater to grades K-12. Our plan is to help schools fill the void left by current budget cuts in music education and lessen the financial burden by covering these teacher’s salaries and their supplies as well as providing programs and workshops to compliment the curriculum. For our mission to be successful will require the community’s support through fundraising and donations. We are making inquiries to foundations for grants that may be available but we will need to rely on the generous support of individuals and local businesses to fund our pilot program for the school year 2004-2005.
