The ROSE Theater is one of the premier venues for live music, comedy and both classic and independent films. The building is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. Constructed in 1937, the facility originally consisted of a single auditorium, which seated approximately 700. In the 1980's the auditorium was divided to create twin cinemas. In 2003 the larger of the two theaters was renovated as a first class concert hall seating 360 while the upper theater was preserved as a vintage 1960's era movie house seating slightly under 200 patrons. At the same time the lobby was renovated, a full service liquor concession was added and new restrooms including ADA compliant facilities were installed.
